Meeting Point Information
- Transportation is included. You will be picked up by our Ride Shiga guides or instructors at your accommodation or the upon agreed meeting point at the agreed time. At the end of the day you will get a lift back to your accommodation.
Lift Pass
- Lift passes are included in this service and will be purchased by Ride Shiga.
Checklist
- Depending on the type of tour or lesson you have decided on, we will send you an individual equiopment checklist for the day. Ski or snowboard equipment can be arranged by Ride Shiga upon request and is in the price included.
Insurance
- Please note that insurance is not included in your booking. We strongly recommend purchasing suitable travel insurance that covers winter sports, including ski and snowboard activities. If you requested a powder guiding or backcountry tour on that day make sure that your insurance is also covering helicopter rescue and avalanche incidents.
- For comprehensive coverage, we suggest the Austrian Alpine Club Membership, which includes insurance for skiing, backcountry touring, and a variety of other outdoor activities worldwide.
- Be sure to review your policy’s fees and coverage conditions before your lesson.
