Our backcountry and ski-touring tours are approximately 3 (Half day) and 5 (Full day) hours.
Starting time and location of the tour is decided based on snow conditions, your abilities and your preferences.

Avalanche skills training & equipment rental
Join our avalanche training, learn to use avalanche gear and perform efficient rescue.
2 hours – ¥22,000
Avalanche safety equipment (Beacon, probe, shovel, backpack).
1 day – ¥4,000

Required Equipment

Insurance
Insurance is not included. Please buy appropriate insurance before your lesson/tour.
We recommend Austrian Alpine Club Membership, it comes with insurance that covers skiing (including backcountry) and many other sports world-wide.
Starting time and duration
Please do your best to be on time for your lesson or tour.
Due to other reservations we might not be able to extend your lesson/tour time if you are late.
To guarantee you make the most of the day we recommend you get ready before meeting our guide.
Ski Gear Rental
We do not offer gear rental but we can help with reservation process. Snow Can – Ichinose is a rental that we recommend and also our meeting point.
Pick Up and Drop Off
We offer Pick up and drop off services for our customers staying in ryokans and hotels around Yudanaka and Shibu Onsen. We also offer resort to resort day tours in Nagano. If you are interested let us know when filling out the booking form.
