Your Backcountry Tour Checklist
Meeting Point
- For your private backcountry tour, your guide will meet you directly at your hotel within Shiga Kogen or at the booking process agreed meeting point. We can arrange private transport to the resort for a surcharge if you are staying outside Shiga Kogen. Please note it in the booking form. Guiding begins at your booked time. Please be ready 15 minutes early.
Gear Rental
- Avalanche safety gear can be rented of Ride Shiga. Please mention in the booking form.
Insurance
- Insurance is not included in your booking. For comprehensive coverage, we suggest the Austrian Alpine Club Membership, which provides insurance for skiing, backcountry touring, and a variety of other outdoor activities worldwide.
